What makes an artist an artist?

How are they different from others? Or are they?

Where do they find inspiration?

Through their art, what are they tying to say?

Why do they feel the need to create?

What drives them; what scares them?

What you will find on this blog is a series of interviews with some insanely talented photographers (and other persons associated with photography) in which I will explore those very questions. I don’t want to know what there favorite lens is or their theory on lighting. Those question may come up occasionally but they are not the real purpose of this blog.

I want to know what makes these individuals unique? I want to know why they are who they are?
